Apple parece decidido a ganar la ‘guerra’ de los servicios de mensajería en línea, como se desprende del anuncio de las nuevas funciones de su iMessage en la reunión anual Conferencia Mundial de Desarrolladores (WWDC) que tiene lugar en San Francisco.
Estas funciones combinan muchas soluciones de lo que ofrecen otros servicios, por lo que iMessage pasa a convertirse en una especie de “conglomerado de Snapchat-WhatsApp-Facebook Messenger”, resume ‘The Verge’. Los principales cambios tienen que ver con los ’emoji’ y nuevos efectos visuales.

Los nuevos emoji serán tres veces más grandes y el programa podrá ‘predecir’ y sugerir al usuario qué ideogramas puede usar mientras escribe. Sin embargo, la mayor innovación radica en la posibilidad de cambiar palabras por emojis con un solo ‘clic’. Es decir, al escribir un mensaje el programa reconocerá automáticamente las palabras que se pueden sustituir con ideogramas, lo que se podrá hacer sencillamente tachando estas palabras.
Tinta invisible
Una de las opciones más interesantes son los mensajes escritos con ‘tinta invisible’, cuyo contenido se podrá ver únicamente si se desliza el dedo sobre las palabras.
Efecto burbuja
“Si quieres decir algo en voz alta… puedes decirlo en voz alta”, anuncia la empresa esta nueva función que permite a las palabras ‘inflarse’ y después reducirse hasta su tamaño normal.
Efectos de pantalla completa
Apple ha introducido efectos de animación de pantalla completa. De esta forma, si, por ejemplo, quiere felicitar a alguien, puede hacer que aparezcan fuegos artificiales o unos globos ‘volando’ por toda la pantalla.
Mensajes escritos a mano
Dos nuevas opciones permitirán ‘escribir’ y ‘dibujar’ con la mano sobre la pantalla.
Compatibilidad con otras aplicaciones.
Por primera vez Apple abrió iMessage a otros desarrolladores. Esto significa que muy pronto otros programas podrán ser compatibles con el servicio de mensajería, abriendo un amplio abanico de oportunidades, desde nuevos emoji hasta, por ejemplo, la posibilidad de realizar pagos sin salir de iMessage.
