Un grupo de derechos humanos del sur de Francia ha presentado una denuncia ante la Policía contra una página de Facebook titulada ‘Adopta un gitano’, a la que acusan de “incitación al odio racial”.
La presidenta del grupo Amaro Drom, Véronique Labbe, explica que la página ‘Adopta un gitano’, a pesar de autodenominarse como humorística, contenía insultos, comentarios sarcásticos y humillaciones. Uno de los mensajes publicados decía “Primeros auxilios para curar las mordeduras de gitanos”, en otro se afirmaba lo siguiente: “¿Los gitanos? No debemos adoptarlos, hay que eliminarlos”.
“No podemos permitir este flujo de odio contra la comunidad gitana en una red social”, insiste Labbe.
Una de las fotos en la página mostraba a dos chicas pobres buscando en la basura, junto a un coche de alta gama. “Las condiciones de vida, aparentemente drásticas, están compensadas por Mercedes (Benz): La manera gitana de la vida”, dice la leyenda que acompaña a la foto.
El grupo ha cosechado centenares de ‘Me gusta’ de los usuarios de Facebook. Después fue cerrado, pero al poco tiempo fue reabierto. No obstante, a partir de este viernes, la página parece haber sido cerrada nuevamente por la red social.
Labbe, por su parte, demanda que el cierre sea definitivo
