El líder revolucionario cubano, Fidel Castro, ha recibido en su domicilio en La Habana al escritor y periodista franco-español Ignacio Ramonet, con el que habló sobre el fallecido líder bolivariano, Hugo Chávez.
Según medios isleños, la reunión tuvo lugar el pasado 13 de diciembre, cuando se cumplió el 19º aniversario del primer encuentro entre el líder de la Revolución cubana y Hugo Chávez, en 1994, indica la web oficial Cubadebate que cita información de Ramonet divulgada en su cuenta de Facebook.
De acuerdo con la nota difundida, Castro y Ramonet conversaron durante dos horas sobre el reciente libro del escritor y periodista titulado ‘Hugo Chávez. Mi primera vida’.
También reflexionaron sobre las recientes elecciones municipales en Venezuela y sobre diversos problemas de la actualidad política y ecológica del mundo.
La información va acompañada de una fotografía donde se ve a Ramonet y a Castro conversando sentados.
De las pocas apariciones públicas de Fidel Castro, las más reciente tuvo lugar el 11 de abril, cuando inauguró una escuela en La Habana. El exmandatario también recibe ocasionalmente a personalidades en su casa, como el pasado 31 de octubre, cuando fue visitado por el vicepresidente de India, Hamid Ali Ansari.
