Google se ha burlado del espionaje de la NSA y ha dejado un mensaje en el código de extensión para los agentes que se infiltren en el sistema.
Según los documentos filtrados por Edward Snowden, Google fue espiada por la Agencia de la Seguridad Nacional de EE.UU., y ahora los ingenieros de la empresa han decidido dar su respuesta a la NSA por medio de un mensaje cifrado en el código fuente de la extensión “end-to-end”, informa el portal PCWorld. 
La NSA, junto con el Cuartel General de Comunicaciones del Gobierno (Reino Unido), espiaban la información privada infiltrándose en la comunicación entre los usuarios y los servidores. Una de las diapositivas usadas por la NSA para explicar este método contaba con un comentario: “SSL added and removed here! =) “, que significa “SSL añadido y eliminado aquí”. Según el portal, este comentario, y en especial el guiño, indignó mucho a los ingenieros de Google y ya ha causado bromas en Twitter.
Ahora Google responde con un contraataque y se burla de la NSA por medio de la misma frase, que han cifrado en el código fuente de la extensión “end-to-end”, que permite cifrar el correo electrónico de servicios web, así que cualquier agente del Gobierno que revise el código en busca de información, la notará.
