Corea del Norte anuncia que no habrá diálogo ni mejora en las relaciones con el Sur y con EE.UU. hasta que se levanten las sanciones contra Pyongyang y se ponga fin a los ejercicios militares conjuntos de esos “enemigos”, informa AFP.
En una reciente declaración, un portavoz del Comité para la Reunificación Pacífica de las Coreas denunció la postura hostil de Seúl hacia el desarrollo del programa nuclear del país comunista y lamentó que para las maniobras conjuntas de EE.UU. con Corea del Sur se utilizase un sofisticado armamento pesado.
Anteriormente el Comité calificó de “astuta” la propuesta de diálogo emitida por Seúl. Señaló entonces que es un paso que “encubre las malas acciones de los surcoreanos”.
Asimismo las autoridades de Corea del Norte afirman que no aceptarán “un diálogo humillante con Estados Unidos” y que las negociaciones solo son posibles si Washington abandona su política “hostil” y las amenazas nucleares.
Tras la tercera prueba nuclear de Corea del Norte realizada en febrero de 2013, la ONU endureció las sanciones contra la República. Al mismo tiempo EE.UU. y Corea del Sur empezaron una serie de maniobras conjuntas con bombarderos capaces de portar armas atómicas. En respuesta, Pyongyang amenazó con ataques nucleares contra ambas naciones y contra Japón, aliado de EE.UU. en la región.
