La empresa canadiense BlackBerry ha anunciado el despido de 4.500 empleados, de una plantilla de algo más de 12.000 trabajadores, es decir, el 40% de su personal, informa Bloomberg.
La decisión se ha hecho pública después de la aparición de la contabilidad de BlackBerry, que evidencia pérdidas de 995 millones de dólares en el segundo trimestre del año. Por eso, el despido es parte de la estrategia para reducir un 50% de los gastos operativos para 2015.
