En México las autoridades están investigando un caso de maltrato a un menor cometido por sus propios padres, quienes le amarran a las rejas de la ventana de la vivienda familiar como castigo.
La Procuraduría de la Defensa del Menor del DIF de Veracruz ha abierto un proceso para investigar el supuesto maltrato infantil después de que este causara indignación en las redes sociales, informan medios locales.
Vecinos de Xalapa publicaron en Facebook imágenes de un niño atado de pies y manos a las rejas de la ventana de su casa. Según los testigos, el maltrato se repite con frecuencia y se efectúa por los padres del menor, quienes también aparecen en las fotos divulgadas.
Se trata de una situación “espeluznante ver al pequeño sujeto con pañuelos a la herrería de una de las ventanas de la casa”, sostiene Mariza Guerrero, vecina que divulgó las indignantes imágenes.
En la familia en cuestión hay en total cuatro niños, los cuales según Guerrero, repetidamente sufren varios tipos de castigos “para inculcarles el temor de Dios”.
