El empresario Lorenzo H. Zambrano, director general y presidente del Consejo de Administración de la Sociedad de Cemex, falleció este lunes en Madrid, España, a los 70 años.
“La operación y administración del grupo continuará desarrollándose normalmente”, informó Cemex en un comunicado difundido a través de la página de la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores.
La empresa añadió, según el comunicado, que “el Consejo de Administración se reunirá en los próximos días para tomar las decisiones que procedan”.
Las causas del fallecimiento no fueron reveladas.
Zambrano nació el 27 de marzo de 1944 en Monterrey, capital del estado de Nuevo León, en el norte de México.
En tanto, los secretarios de Gobernación, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, y Luis Videgaray, lamentaron el hecho a través de mensajes en sus cuentas de Twitter.
