Cuatro narcocárteles mexicanos podrían estar planeando una alianza para enfrentar problemas financieros, informan los medios mexicanos.
Representantes de los cárteles de Jalisco Nueva Generación, Carrillo Fuentes, Beltrán Leyva y Los Zetas han tenido ya reuniones para negociar la posible unión, señalan los medios, citando a fuentes en la inteligencia de México y EE.UU., quienes precisaron que los encuentros tuvieron lugar en Piedras Negras, Coahuila. En conjunto, estos cárteles tienen presencia o zonas de influencia en unos 20 estados, es decir, controlan dos tercios del país.
Según el diario mexicano ‘Reforma’, los cárteles, que se dedican al secuestro y la extorsión tanto como a la producción y el tráfico de drogas, están interesados en la creación de un ‘cártel de cárteles’.
La idea de crear una alianza puede deberse al debilitamiento que han sufrido estas organizaciones en los últimos años por la lucha contra los narcos que realiza el Gobierno. Los cárteles, que barajan una alianza ahora, se encuentran desde hace años en una confrontación fuerte que ha aumentado la violencia en el país y ha obligado al Gobierno federal a desplegar a miles de militares en las zonas más conflictivas para recuperar la seguridad.
