El pasado 15 de febrero un meteorito cayó en la región rusa de los Urales, sembrando el pánico entre la población. La onda expansiva causó daños en edificios de seis ciudades y más de 1.200 personas resultaron heridas. En marzo el Ministerio de Emergencias ruso anunció que organizará un departamento que se dedique a prestar asistencia a la población en caso de un ‘ataque espacial’.
