Un joven de EE.UU. llamado Jason Sadler describió en su libro ‘Creatividad en venta’ cómo ganó su primer millón ‘vendiendo’ dos veces su apellido y llevando camisetas con anuncios de empresas serigrafiados.
Jason SurfrApp (Jason Sadler) es un joven empresario de Jacksonville (Florida) anteriormente conocido como Jason HeadsetsDotCom que en 2013 decidió subastar su apellido en el sitio BuyMyLastName.com (CompraMiApellido) e invitó a las empresas a aprovechar esta “oportunidad única”, que a él le supuso una primera ganancia de 45.500 dólares por Internet.
La segunda vez que puso a la venta su apellido Jason se había ‘rebautizado’ como SurfrApp, y el lote incluía la oportunidad de hacer figurar el nombre de la empresa patrocinadora en el libro que planeaba escribir, ‘Creativity For Sale’ (‘Creatividad en venta’).
“‘Creativity For Sale’ te hará sentir inspirado, te entretendrá y te motivará para crear el negocio y la vida que siempre has querido”, se dice en la anotación del libro, que explica cómo el joven de Jacksonville ganó su primer millón vistiendo camisetas con anuncios.
Jason Sadler fundó la empresa de publicidad I Wear Your T-Shirt (Llevo su camiseta), que permite a las empresas comprar un día en la vida de Sadler. Durante ese día el emprendedor floridense llevará una camiseta serigrafiada con el logotipo de la compañía anunciante y difundirá las imágenes y grabaciones vía Twitter, Facebook, YouTube y otros servicios en línea.
Según Sadler, los lectores de ‘Creativity for Sale’ podrán utilizar la lista de contactos de patrocinadores que aparece en su libro y ganar 1.000 dólares para iniciar un negocio; asimismo, también tienen derecho a cinco horas de consultas con el autor a través de Skype o por teléfono.
