Mientras el grupo secreto se está preparando para su reunión anual en Copenhague la próxima semana, el destacado político italiano Mario Borghezio, miembro de la comisión de Libertades Civiles, Justicia y Asuntos de Interior en el Parlamento Europeo, criticó a Bilderberg como “la raíz de todo el mal que aflige a Italia” culpando a esta organización de la crisis económica en su país, informa el portal Infowars.
El político, que acusa al grupo élite de causar desempleo, pobreza y altos impuestos en Italia, es apoyado por Alfonso Luigi Marra, un abogado italiano que solicitó el año pasado que la Fiscalía de Roma investigara al grupo de Bilderberg por su papel en “actividad criminal”. Marra acusó a la organización de conspirar con el fin de instalar a Mario Monti como primer ministro de Italia en la reunión de 2011 en Suiza. Entonces etiquetó al grupo como “hermandad ilegal única” de elitistas, los cuales se consideran a sí mismos “por encima de la ley”. En el video Borghezio da un golpe a la clase política italiana afirmando que “Monti y Letta son miembros de Bilderberg, mientras que Renzi [el primer ministro actual] es su marioneta”.
A pesar de que en los medios de comunicación convencionales está difundido el cliché de que Bilderberg representa meramente “una tertulia”, existen innumerables ejemplos de cómo el grupo clandestino consensúa la política que se implementa poco después. Incluso en 2009 el presidente de Bilderberg Étienne Davignon presumió de que la moneda única del euro fue una idea original de su organización.
En 2010 el ex secretario general de la OTAN y miembro de la organización Willy Claes admitió que los asistentes a Bilderberg están obligados a implementar las decisiones tomadas durante las conferencias anuales. Pero en este caso sería una violación de las leyes de numerosos países que prohíben a los políticos verse influenciados por agentes extranjeros en secreto, afirma el medio.
Las acusaciones de Borghezio parecen importantes a la luz de otro precedente: el grupo conspiró para preparar el escenario para el mercado de la vivienda y el colapso económico en su reunión en 2006 en Ottawa (Canadá), dos años antes de que estallara la fuerte crisis financiera de 2008.
