El diario británico ‘The Western Exeter Times’ de 1902 informa a sus lectores sobre un divertido juego llamado ‘Face-book’. La idea del juego se describe como “una novedad que ofrecía una casa de campo” y consistía en que, a falta de la actual tecnología, en las casas señoriales se pedía a los huéspedes dibujar una imagen de su cara y firmar con su nombre debajo de ella. Según el diario, “el resultado es muy divertido y los peores dibujos con frecuencia causan mayor entretenimiento”.
‘The Daily Mirror’ cita a la investigadora del diario británico ‘Archive’, Amy Sell, quien dice: “Es sorprendente cómo el ‘Face-book’ de 1902 refleja lo que usamos hoy en día, la historia ciertamente parece repetirse”.
