Um professor de educação artística da rede estadual de Ubatuba (SP), preso nesta quarta-feira (23) com 90 vasos de maconha dentro da própria casa, alegou que a droga seria usada para consumo próprio.
No local, no bairro Enseada, a Polícia Civil encontrou ainda um fuzil com silenciador e mira a laser, munições, balança de precisão e 1,5kg da droga, além de sementes da planta importadas da Europa.
“Por consumir muita droga eu guardo na geladeira, sou consumidor. Não preciso traficar, minha família tem muitas posses”, disse Marcelo Castanho, de 35 anos. A polícia chegou até a casa dele depois de um mês de investigações e uma denúncia anônima. De acordo com a polícia, para esconder a droga o morador construiu um telhado que impedia que a plantação fosse vista de cima.
Em uma edícula da casa, uma estrutura sofisticada estava montada com um laboratório de produção de maconha. As paredes eram revestidas, o que formava uma espécie de estufa. “Ele aproveita com isso, a luminosidade, porque não precisa de tanta lâmpada e também para aumentar a temperatura e acelerar a secagem do entorpecente”, relatou Silvio Nomura, investigador da Polícia Civil.
A sala, com aproximadamente 12 metros quadrados, tinha ainda sacos de areia localizados nos fundos para que o professor usasse como alvo para dar tiros com o fuzil. Todo o material foi apreendido e levado para a delegacia seccional de São Sebastião. O professor foi preso em flagrante por porte ilegal de arma e tráfico de drogas.
A Secretaria Estadual de Educação informou que o professor preso, atualmente prestou serviço como temporário e não dá mais aula na rede estadual.
