José Caballero, de 39 años, y Elissa Alvarez, de 20 años, enfrentan cargos por comportamiento obsceno luego de ser denunciados por varios testigos. Según una entrevista realizada a una de las presente (que no quiso ser identificada) por el noticiero del canal Fox 13 Tampa Bay, la pareja estuvo alrededor de 25 minutos teniendo sexo.
“Es como si ellos pensaban que no había nadie allí… Miré a las otras personas en la playa, y todo el mundo los miraba, pero nadie hacía nada. He vivido aquí desde 1978, y voy a las playas, y nunca he visto algo como esto”, dijo la mujer al noticiero.
Según el portal The Smoking Gun, Caballero es entrenador personal y Alvarez trabaja como mesera.
La pareja fue liberada de la cárcel el lunes, después de pagar una fianza de $7,500.
