Las Fuerzas Aéreas de Venezuela interceptaron y abatieron una avioneta con matricula mexicana que ingresó en su espacio aéreo sin autorización.
Según la ley aprobada por la Asamblea Nacional de Venezuela en 2012, las Fuerzas Aéreas del país pueden derribar aviones que, presuntamente, pertenecen al narcotráfico e ignoran las instrucciones venezolanas.
La Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores de México ha pedido explicaciones a Caracas por el ataque a una avioneta mexicana ‘Hawker 25’, que fue abatida el 4 de noviembre en el Estado de Apure, fronterizo con Colombia, al oeste del país.
El jefe del Comando Estratégico Operacional de Venezuela, Vladimir Padrino López, informó de la intercepción de la aeronave a través de su cuenta en Twitter.
El derribo de la avioneta ‘Hawker 25’ que, según las autoridades venezolanas, intentaba ”cargar droga” es el cuatro incidente de este tipo que se registra desde el pasado 20 de octubre.
Según la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana, en lo que va de año han sido decomisadas más de 30 toneladas de drogas.
